What stays on your device

The following data is stored locally on your iPhone and is never sent to our servers:

• the content of your conversations with IRIO
• your memories, projects and personas
• your preferences and settings

Deleting the app erases this data. It is not backed up on our side and cannot be restored by us.

What our servers keep

To provide the service and manage your quotas, our gateway keeps:

• a technical identifier generated by the app, which contains no information about you
• a purchase identifier provided by Apple, which lets us restore your subscription if you change device
• a count of your usage per service type (number of messages, minutes of voice, pages analysed, images created)
• a timestamped usage record: date, service called, quantity — never the content of the request
• your device’s public security key, which attests that the app is genuine
• a log of security events — verification failure, subscription conflict — including the IP address the event came from

This data tells us HOW MUCH you use IRIO, never WHAT FOR. The text of your questions and the answers you receive are not stored on our side.

Technical providers

Some features rely on specialised providers. Your request is passed to them for the duration of the processing, without your identity: they receive neither your identifier nor any data that could identify you.

• Mistral AI (France) — reasoning, image analysis, document reading, speech transcription
• Gradium — speech transcription and voice synthesis
• Staan — web search
• Cloudflare — image generation

The irio.app website

This section covers the irio.app website only, not the app. This website uses no advertising trackers and sets no cookies, with one exception: the beta sign-up page sets a technical session cookie, required to protect its form, with no tracking. We measure traffic from our own server, without storing your IP address, without browser fingerprinting and without any identifier: we cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. We only record the page viewed, the language, the device type and the site you came from.

The beta programme

If you sign up for the IRIO beta on this website, we record your first name, your email address and, if you provide them, your iPhone model and iOS version. This information is used solely to send you your TestFlight access link and to manage your participation in the test phase, on the basis of your consent. It is deleted automatically 12 months after you sign up, or as soon as you ask us to withdraw your registration by writing to dpo@converway.com.

This email is sent through our email service provider, which receives only your address and the text of the message, with no open tracking.

Retention period

Usage records and security logs are deleted automatically after 24 months. Beta sign-ups are deleted after 12 months. Your technical identifier and your quotas are kept for as long as you use IRIO.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase and object to the processing of data concerning you. Write to dpo@converway.com and include your technical identifier, shown in the app’s “About” screen — without it we cannot locate your data, since we know neither your name nor your address.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
